2010 RascoLine
Rascodog ’s delighted to announce the recent additions and modifications made in the 2010 product line. For instance: colors, hardware, and sizing have all been altered to give the ReadyLeash an even greater advantage in the realm of dog leashes.
Six ReadyLeash colors are now offered instead of only two. Lime, Fuschia, Tangerine, and Grey are available alongside the original shades of Red and Blue. Unless you’re taking a multiple choice exam, it’s safe to assume that people generally like more options.
We’ve also put down the detachable leash leads and now hold the less bulky sewn-in leads. The sewn-in nylon lead is much more light-weight, without compromising the strength, durability, or integrity of the ReadyLeash. Depending on the users desired length, the lead can be adjusted between four and six feet. Sewing takes place right here in Massachusetts, allowing us to stay within face-to-face contact that’s important when dealing with a manufactured product.

Example of Direct Sewn-In Lead
It’s important to mention that ReadyLeash can be purchased with a thinner nylon lead, ideally for smaller dogs. The thinner lead is 5/8ths of an inch wide, preventing things from looking disproportionate while walking a little dog or puppy.
Since the detachable leashes are no longer made, there’s no need for some of the clunky hardware. After cutting out the unnecessary fittings, we went on with upgrading to a more durable snap-hook, creating an almost unbreakable ReadyLeash.
Rascodog is proud to offer our new innovative leashes that make responsible dog-owning routinely efficient and convenient. Please don’t hesitate to write or call; We love hearing from readers and fellow dog owners alike.
Kind Regards,
Evan Perkins

If the leads are no longer detachable, does this mean you can’t attach a second lead anymore?
The 2010 ReadyLeash does not support secondary leads, but on the bright side it works well with most couplers.
So the possibility of walking more than one dog is certainly possible, we just don’t make the equipment anymore.
they look awsome.call me back, i may carry them in my shop.
hi even, do you have any window decals or posters with rosco dog logo to display in the shop. i like “for the responsible dog owner” see ya soon. trudy
I am so disappointed to hear that the new ReadyLeash line does not allow for the addition of an extra leash. I am a professional pet-sitter/dog-walker and I love the ability to walk two dogs with one strong, comfortable handle with the ReadyLeash. I don’t like couplers becuase they don’t allow the two dogs much freedom of independent movement. Thus, if one dog pulls off in one direction, the other dog is jerked along. I was going to recommend the ReadyLeash to my clients with two dogs because I was really pleased with how it worked. I guess there is no need to recommend it now. I can get the same effect of your new line of ReadyLeashs by using the leash-lock on my Flexi. You’ve re-designed the uniqueness right out of your product.
Thanks for your comments, Amy! We really appreciate the feedback, and we’ll be sure to keep this in mind for future product changes. Our intent was to take some of the bulk out of the product by eliminating the metal hardware near the handle. This change does improve the usability and general comfort of the product, but it prevents the XtraLeashes from being used as in the previous design. You are certainly able to attach a standard coupler to the end of the ReadyLeash, but you make a good point about dogs needing their independent freedom. Again, thanks for your comments, and please let us know if you have any other thoughts.
What a great idea to add the plastic bag holder to the leash!1 Great colors
I think your new way of attaching the leash is good, especially since my D-ring snapped and I can’t find another one that will fit and still be strong enough. So my wonderful leash handle and all of its attachments have been rendered completely useless at this point. However, the whole reason I got your leash was to have the multi-lead attachments. I like the super short for my dog when we are out on therapy visits, but then I like the separate long leashes when I’m walking all of my dogs at once so that they have more freedom than a coupler allows. Its quite disappointing that you have removed that wonderful feature. I was on your site again today to see if by chance you had any type of replacement pieces available, or to see if I could possibly get another handle only to use with all of the detachable leads I recently purchased. Oh, well. I guess I’m back to the drawing board for creating my own unique one that will continue to give me the flexibility I need.
Thanks for your honest feedback, Amanda. We are doing our best to accommodate the needs of our users, and we certainly take your feedback into consideration in our future product improvements.
