All I was doing was walking down the main aisle with 2 of my dogs toward the Banfield Vet in the back of the store. The owner of that dog is very lucky that I have more control over my dogs than she had over hers. That little Yorkie would have been a snack if I didn't have my dogs under control and short leashed(they were not pleased that Mommy got bitten....for that matter - neither was Mommy) Long story short - I'll be watching the bite wound for infection, the Yorkie has been banned from the store unless muzzled and I'll now have a scar on my ankle because an idiot who didn't have a clue how to control her dog decided that having it on a flex-lead would be a brilliant idea. OK rant over now - thanks for listening WOW! I hope you're alright and the bite doesn't turn out to be too serious. I don't understand people who walk into "high traffic areas" i.e the vet's office or a crowded pet store with their dogs on retractable leashes. I mean, here you were with your own dogs, calmly going about your business and you still managed to have an incident! What about the kids who run around those places trying to pet all the pretty puppies? It makes me nervous. Sadly, I'm sure the person whose dog bit you will not even think of the leash as a reason for the problem. Leave the Retractables at Home | Rascodog [...]
